AMT supplies a turnkey project of a Centrifugal Fan for the Steel industry, which includes the Start-up Service in collaboration with the end customer.
It is a Heavy-duty manufacturing equipment under technical specification according to somewhat aggressive operating conditions.
With an installed power of 160 kW for continuous work 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, for different work points, obtained with a regulation system at inlet by means of a radial vane and a frequency converter.
Due to the peculiarities of the fluid to transport, manufacturing with a high degree of tightness is required, for which we have used graphite rings in the shaft seal and metal fabrication compensators, among other elements, which can guarantee to avoid the leaks .
Another conditioning factor in the design is the high temperature, which is why we have resorted to suitable special materials, an oil lubrication system in the bearings, and forced ventilation by means of an aluminum cooling disc. The parts in contact with the fluid have been isolated with a thermal heating, and the treatment of paint and finishing for weather conditions.
